WARRANTY, REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY
FACTORY WARRANTY
All items sold by Farrow’s Customs are covered by a factory warranty. This warranty is for Manufacturing defects only. Manufacturing defects must be reported to Farrow’s Customs immediately upon being recognized and within 7 days of receipt of the item. The length of the warranty is determined by the manufacturer, importer or supplier and is clearly presented on this site.
Factory defects include but are not limited to:
- Mis-alignment when fitted,
- Inability to fit due to incorrect structure, fitting or brackets,
- Discoloured or peeling coating,
- Out of Round,
Factory warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by incorrect application,
- Damage caused by incorrect fitment or process during fitting,
- Damage caused by incorrect handling,
- Shipping Damage,
- Acts of God.
Electrical Items:
Electrical items are manufactured to replace O.E.M parts and work as part of a fully functional factory fitted electrical system. Non electronic electrical items such as switches, bulbs and batteries may be fitted as a D.I.Y. application. All electronic items must be installed and tested by a licensed auto electrician.
The factory warranty on the item supplied does not apply when items are fitted to non O.E.M. or modified electrical systems or where burnout has occurred due to power surge caused by other faulty components.
Where the factory warranty is being claimed on an electronic item, the claim must be accompanied by an auto electricians report.
Please choose carefully as we do not refund because you changed your mind. A refund will be offered where we have supplied the incorrect item and the correct item is not available.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
In the first instance, where a buyer believes a factory defect exists, the buyer should contact Farrow’s Customs directly on 07 5408 4360, email service@farrowscustoms.com.au, or visit our premises at 56 Arundell Avenue, Nambour QLD 4560. Where the contact is by phone or email, images of the defective item must be supplied. When visiting the store to make a claim, the defective item and all required reports must be presented at the time of claim.
Where a factory defect is determined, Farrow’s Customs reserves the right to repair or replace at their discretion. A refund will only be offered if Farrow’s Customs are unable to repair or replace the defective item.
Refunds for warranty returns will only be processed after confirmation of acceptance of claim by the company. Return of warranty items is at the discretion of the company.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Please choose carefully. We DO NOT accept returns because you change your mind or order the wrong colour, size or feature.
We will accept returns where statutory requirements exist and where the item has a manufacturing defect, except where the item description clearly states the nature of the defect and the item is sold as a ‘second’.
Shipping damage claims must be placed through the courier. Claims for shipping damage and refunds for returns will only be processed where photographic evidence is provided of a damaged parcel and damaged contents. It is the receivers responsibility NOT to sign for or accept a parcel if it is damaged.
In certain very extreme cases, refunds may be granted but could be subject to a 15% restocking fee per item. In this instance products must be returned as new & unused, which show no signs of wear to either the product itself or the packaging.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
WHAT CAN NOT BE RETURNED
- No returns after 14 days from the date of purchase
- Parts that have been installed or bikes that have been ridden.
- Clothing which has been worn &/or washed
- Custom-built parts or special-order items.
